Oh how I loved making this garland! It's super easy to make and so pretty up on my wall. I can't stop staring at it! This glitzy garland is perfect for a New Years party but would work for any kind of party really. And it's cheap to make too!
Supplies:
Gold Fringe Tablecloth (cut into 10-inch strips)
Tissue paper in pleasing colors
Scissors
Scotch Tape
Twine, Raffia or small Ribbon
Wrap the top of the tassel with raffia, twine or other small ribbon and make a loop at the top so you can string it.

First, cut the tissue paper into strips making fringe, leaving a small space at the top to keep it together. It only takes one sheet folded up to make each tassel.

Next, roll the top of the tissue paper or gold fringe up, making the tassel. Secure with scotch tape.

Repeat this process til you have as many finished tassels as you would like.
String and hang up. Stare at it. Ooh and ah. Send a picture of it to your mom. Etc.
