As far as this weekend goes, we are just looking forward to spending some time relaxing and playing together as a family. Here is a picture of what Luke's face looked like when his Daddy got home today. I'm a lucky woman.

This DIY Tree Skirt cost less than $12 and it's so pretty! I have never bought one before and am always improvising with tablecloths or other linens I can find around the house because I don't want to spend the dough. This is perfect. I will definitely be making one soon! I can't believe Christmas is in 2 short months! Thanks Teal and Lime!

This sandwich cake is actually called a smörgåstårta a Swedish dish. I love the idea of having something like this for a party or shower. You can have your cake and not feel bad about eating pure sugar for lunch! Thanks Panini Happy!

Last night we went on a double date to a pumpkin parade. It was way fun and there were some really cool carved and decorated pumpkins, we went on a carriage ride and did some pumpkin bowling! It was a fun halloween festivity to get us in the spirit of the holiday! Today we will be working on putting our costumes together. I'm way excited to see how they turn out.
