Our Week in Pins and Photographs

I am completely obsessed with this creation. Honestly, I think this woman is a genius. Who sees that extra six inches of space on the side of the fridge and thinks, "I am going to build a rolling shelf to hold all my cans!" Certainly not me. I do however, complain about my crowded pantry! No more friends, I can't wait to build this shelf with the hubby.

Thank you Learning to Be Me for the brilliant idea,
and thank you Classy Clutter for showing us how to make it adorable!

Even though Luke isn't quite old enough for these yet, I know that soon he will love the superheros! I was totally stoked to find these templates for super hero logos. You could use them for anything, I am already thinking, t-shirts, quilts, capes, wall art etc. I love when people are generous enough to share free printables and patterns.

Thank you Sugar Tot Designs!

Last weekend we were able to take a quick trip home to visit family. It was so fun to see them even if it was just for a short time. The pictures below show some of the fun we had at City Creek. Luke loved it. I have never seen him take down anything like the did the mac and cheese at the Blue Lemon (he is not a huge eater). The bottom two pictures show my mom and my sweet husband showing him the fountains. This week has been my first week of my second trimester and I am already feeling so much better. Hallelujah.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

This quilt is maybe the prettiest I've ever seen and I love the styling in this photo. I want that quilt! I think it would be time consuming (like most quilts)  but otherwise not too hard to make something similar. Source: A Day in the Land of Nobody

These brownie cookies just look divine. Brownie. Cookies. With salted caramel creme frosting. Yeah, I shouldn't make them because if I do I will eat them all before anyone else can get to them. But I probably will anyway. Source: Bakers Royale

Last Saturday, the husband and I went to a really amazing new southwest Native American restaurant for dinner. It's called the Black Sheep Cafe for you locals. So delish. Then we saw a movie called Bernie. Have you guys heard of it? We absolutely loved this movie. Just see it. It's great.

Now me and the boy will be organizing for the rest of the day. How do we accumulate so much random unnecessary stuff? We're excited for our home to be a little less cluttered. If we get rid of anything good maybe I'll do an online yard sale. Happy Saturday!

  2. Bernie is a true story from a small town, Carthage, in East Texas! I grew up about 20 min from Carthage. I actually work with a woman that is from Carthage and knew the real Bernie! Crazy huh? I heard they used real people from the town as extras.

    1. That's so cool that you are from there. Did you watch the movie?! It's really great. I didn't know it was true til the credits started rolling though and I was like "WHAT!!?" Anyway great/funny/sad/human story.

  4. Is Bernie in theaters right now? And if so, which theater in Provo?

    1. It is in some theaters but not all. It's playing at the Spanish 8 in Spanish Fork and the Water Gardens in Pleasant Grove -both of those theaters are cheap, only cost $3.50 per ticket and the popcorn is super affordable too! Then the Carmike Wynnsong at Riverwoods has it playing too. If you go there, I suggest going on a Tuesday to get cheaper tickets.
