Yes and yes.
Oh, and I almost forgot delicious. Yes.
All you need is chicken, salsa and taco seasoning. Three ingredients is all it takes to make a masterpiece folks.
Put frozen chicken (fresh is fine too, just lower the time) in the crock-pot and cover with one jar salsa and one packet taco seasoning. Make sure the chicken is coated pretty well. If you need more juice add a little bit of water. Cook on low for 8 hours, shred chicken with two forks with 1-2 hours remaining.
Now enjoy however you'd like!
Bryce like's his in taco form, like so:
Or you might prefer a taco salad like me...
Mmmm..
It is also really yummy on nachos. Hope you enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI made these tonight. :) SO good! Thank you for the recipe! I used fresh chicken, and they were the strips. So I only had them in the crock pot for 3hrs on high. Still tasted perfection!
ReplyDeleteYay!! Haili I am so glad you liked it! It is seriously one of my go-to recipes because it is so easy and it makes the chicken so tender. Mmm.
